Patients from EU countries (private patients)
Citizens from other EU countries are welcome to be treated at our Hospital as private patients.
Please be aware that we generally do not accept cost coverage declarations from foreign private health insurance providers. In such a case we will request a forepayment according to our cost estimate prior to admission.
We therefore ask you to clarify this issue with your health insurance company in advance.
Patients from countries outside of the European Union
Patients from outside the European Union are always welcome to receive treatment at our medical Institutions.
Our multilingual team will be glad to assist you with your request for an appointment and treatment.
Entry visa and invitation
Visas are issued by the German Embassy or the German Consulate General in the patient's country of residence.
Cost Plan
Many public institutions, strive for the greatest possible cost transparency. All of they treatments are based on the usual billing systems and legal standards in Germany.
Unfortunately, they can only inform you of the final treatment costs at the end of your treatment.
Cost estimate calculations are dependent on the complexity and dynamic of care as well as auxiliary services provided.
Therefore, it is rarely possible to provide an exact cost estimate before treatment begins.
Please note that there is no direct billing with foreign health insurance companies. An advance payment in accordance with our cost estimate is thus required. Payment can be made by:
Bank transfer in advance;
in such a case you must present the receipt on admission
Credit card on the day of admission:
please be aware to check your credit card limit first.
Cash payment (only in exceptional cases)

Booking of hotels and apartments.
When planning our guests' arrival, we try to take every detail into account so that you feel comfortable and relaxed with us. Of course, the place of residence in a foreign country plays an important role in this.
We discuss your wishes with you, for example, the location of the hotel, the price category, the special furnishings and all other “little things”. We will then suggest a selection and book the hotel according to your decision. You will receive the booking confirmation by e-mail.
Our guests who are planning a long-term stay or are traveling with a large family have the option of renting an apartment, apartment or villa. In cooperation with our partners we offer our customers special prices. We will be happy to send you detailed information.
During your stay, we will actively support you in all everyday matters such as grocery shopping, cleaning and much more.
A concierge service is available throughout your stay to answer any questions you may have.
Limousine and chauffeur service
Whether for a business appointment or private pleasure - our reliable chauffeurs will take you to the location of your choice in exclusive limousines.
Are you on location for a longer period of time or do you need a chauffeur for several days or weeks? Whether Munich, Germany or other European countries - at your request, a driver will be at your exclusive disposal for a longer period of time. Decide for yourself whether you want our chauffeurs to use your car or whether we can provide you with one of our luxurious limousines.
We place the highest demands on our chauffeurs - experience, reliability, maximum discretion and professionalism are among the basic personal requirements. Our chauffeurs all have a passenger transport license, speak at least one foreign language and regularly take part in driver safety training.
It goes without saying that the driving style of our chauffeurs, who are familiar with the area, is always adapted to the prevailing traffic situation, and they always aim to get you to your destination punctually and quickly, but always safely.

Visa and Travel Preparations
Travel arrangements should only be made once an appointment has been confirmed and payment has been made. This means that you must first complete the “Treatment Request and Appointment Form” and then wait for a response from our department regarding the appointment and cost estimate.
We kindly ask you to clarify the formalities for a medical visa with the German embassy of your country of residence.

Cost Estimate
What happens, if the final bill does not match the amount due in my cost estimate?
A cost estimate is calculated in collaboration with our medical departments in order to ensure that both our Hospital and our patients are not only able to cost effectively provide as well as receive the highest standards of care.
We therefore require our patients to proceed with an advance payment, which covers for all planned treatment, inclusive that provided by a chef physician.
Additionally, we charge a risk supplementary fee for unforeseen care needs during your stay. In case of overpayment you will be refunded as soon as we issue the final invoice after your stay.
Absolute safety and Transparency
Our invoices as well as the invoices of the hospitals and the attending physicians are made fully transparent for you by reviewing each individual invoice together with you.
When paying for your medical treatment, we insist that this is paid directly to the hospital where you received your treatment in accordance with the contractual regulations.
If it turns out that you have paid too much, the difference will be refunded to you immediately
We will also always inform you transparently and in advance of the treatment process of any additional costs that you may incur, for example as a result of additional examinations or additional operations.
Sometimes, however, additional costs may be incurred if an unforeseen extension of the operation is required spontaneously and intraoperatively, if the need for an extended procedure becomes apparent during an operation and there is no indication that the patient would have decided otherwise. We are also available to advise you at any time in such cases.
Payment
Do the Hospitals have a price list?
The Hospitals do not publish any kind of price lists.
As a public institutions are obliged to provide the highest standards of cost transparency to all of our patients. The billing of all of our treatments is based on the usual tariff systems and legal standards in Germany.
The cost estimates should provide you with an accurate overview of the expected costs after treatment.
Please be aware that we can only provide you with an exact calculation of treatment after your stay.
Treatment prices are calculated according to the complexity of care needed, e.g., price increases with higher care needs and complexity of treatment.
Therefore it is often difficult to exactly predict treatment price at the beginning of your stay.
How can I pay?
By bank transfer, cash or by credit card (except American Express credit cards).
Can I also pay my bill after the treatment?
No, you must always pay in advance.
Remaining Balance
How long does it take be refunded in case of overpayment?
In case of due overpayment, you will be refunded via credit card or valid bank account transfer as soon as the final invoice has been issued.
Service Fee
To this purpose we request our patients to sign a supplemental agreement with the Hospitals, in which additional provisions to the general terms of the treatment contract as well as to our price list, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient care, are agreed upon.
Treatment Contract
Do I have to sign a treatment contract?
Yes, you cannot be treated without a valid treatment contract.
Once the right clinic has been contacted, the contract is signed.
We want you to be fully informed right from the start and guarantee you full transparency.
This is why we have two different contracts:
Firstly, an independent contract between you and the clinic where you would like to be treated. This includes payment for all your medical treatments.
On the other hand, a care contract is drawn up between you and us, which includes the provision of an interpreter, an organizational fee and any additional services you may require.
