    A total of 33 specialized clinics and departments operate under the umbrella of the hospital. This ensures that experts are available for even the rarest of conditions, covering the entire spectrum of modern medicine.


    Close cooperation between patient care and research ensures that new insights from scientific studies benefit patients as quickly as possible. The individual clinics work in close collaboration, allowing patients to receive joint care from doctors across various specialties based on their diagnosis. Interdisciplinary centers have been established within the hospital for this purpose; Drawing on modern diagnostics, medical teams in these centers develop the optimal therapy—or combination of therapies—for each patient.


    Klinikum Rechts der Isar has implemented a comprehensive quality management system aimed at continuously improving the quality of patient care by optimizing processes. It supports patients undergoing neuro-rehabilitation on their journey back to their everyday lives without the need for assistive devices. EksoNR was the first exoskeleton to receive FDA clearance for the treatment of patients with acquired brain injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), and spinal cord injuries.
